New North Fork Fly Fishing Reels

20" South Fork Snake River Cutthroat Trout we caught last fall.
Just wanted to update everyone...

...we now have a couple new prototype North Fork Fly Fishing Reels available to the public!  We have Metallic Green 7/8 Wt. reels and Metallic Cutthroat Red 5/6 Wt. reels up for sale.  And again, these are prototype reels so there are no logos and supply is extremely limited, but you can score one for a fraction of what the retail cost will be once we go into full production mode.  These are a limited edition product so Buy One Now.  Once they're gone, they're gone.

As always, they are available for purchase either by contacting us directly or through the seller DNUAMA on eBay which you can checkout HERE.

Now get out there and spend some quality time on the water!

Small Local Creeks and Streams

NEWS: Soon we will have the red version of our 5/6 wt. prototype signature reels and green 7/8 wt. prototype reels available for purchase.  Like always, they'll be available on eBay and from us directly.  We are hoping to get feedback and work out any design and functional kinks before we go into full production mode.  Production reels will have our logo laser etched on them and will likely cost more.  There will only be a handful of the prototypes available to the public, so keep checking back!

In the meantime, I just wanted to post a few pictures I took last Fall of some gorgeous small local creeks and streams here near Idaho Falls.

Enjoy the pics and enjoy your time on the water!

Large Arbor Signature Fly Fishing Reel Prototype

From our home here in Idaho, we are proud to announce the arrival of North Fork Fly Fishing's Prototype
Large Arbor Signature Fly Reel.

We really wanted to have a quality fly reel on par with the Abel, Galvan, and Ross reels.  As you can see from the pictures, our prototype fly reel is a gorgeous, classic metallic green color that looks amazing on any angler's fly rod.  This lightweight reel is crafted from fully machined 6061 bar stock aluminum that is corrosion resistant anodized, with a strong carbon disc drag perfect for fighting the biggest trophy trout.  Our 5/6 Wt. reels are the definition of large arbor at 3.31 inches in diameter and a weight of only 5.32 ounces.

As of right now, we have the 5/6 Wt. reels available for purchase  (Yes, that's a link to buy them) with a free dual color weight forward 6 wt. floating fly line like you see in the pictures here (pale yellow + brook trout orange).

We really want to get these out there and have people testing them prior to us going into full production mode.  And again, the prototypes do not have our logo on them since they're a limited special product.

Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding these reels.

We will be selling them through our website and through our account DNUAMA on eBay (click HERE) so that it's easier for people to purchase them.  Buy them while you can because soon we will be going into full production mode and costs may change.

And again, from our home here in Idaho, we just want to say enjoy your time on the water and we wish you the best of luck!

Cheers, my friends!

Now here are a few more sexy pictures for you to drool over...

Fall River, Idaho

NEWS: The prototype reels will be available for sale later this week.  I will put some of eBay and the rest will be available if you contact me.  I should have some pictures and specifications up in the next couple of days so you all can check them out.  And again, the prototypes won't have our logo on them, that will have to wait until be bump things up into full production mode.  But, I 'm pretty sure you'll all be plenty pleased with the quality and look.

In the meantime, I wanted to show you guys a few pictures I took of a lesser fished Idaho river... Fall River.  It seems to get overshadowed by the Henry's (North) Fork and the South Fork of the Snake River.  All three are amazing for fly fishing for trout, but if you wanted to escape the crowds, Fall River is the place for you.  It starts in West Yellowstone Park and flows across into the Ashton, Idaho area.  A wonderful place, indeed.

Check back in a couple days for pics of the prototype reels.  We should also have some upcoming news regarding our Signature rods, our Switch rods, and our European (Czech) Nymphing/High Sticking rods.  All are going to be amazing, plus reasonably priced for the quality.

Anyway, here are a few more pics from my camera for you to drool over... there are big Brown Trout hiding in these waters...

South Fork of the Snake River

NEWS: The prototype version of our signature reels in a 5/6 Wt version will be available soon.  We're hoping to get some out to you guys for testing purposes before we start full production.  The prototypes won't have our logo on them, but they will be a high quality large arbor reel indicative of the production model.  So check back because you won't want to miss your chance to pick one up!

I'll update again when they're in stock and available to buy.

In the meantime, check out some gorgeous pictures of the South Fork of the Snake River that we took this last Summer and Fall... we truly are blessed to live in such a beautiful trout fishing paradise.

Best wishes!
